Our Programmes
Three programmes, each with its own depth and pace
Each course is built around a distinct area of personal finance that matters most to Malaysian households in their 40s and above. They can be taken in any order, though many learners begin with the Cash Flow programme.

How we structure the learning experience
Each programme begins with a brief orientation session to establish what learners already know and where they would like to arrive. The sessions that follow build in a deliberate sequence — each one grounded in the previous — rather than presenting topics as isolated modules.
We use Malaysian worked examples throughout, prioritise comprehension over memorisation, and schedule sessions at a cadence that suits working adults. Where a cohort needs more time on a particular topic, the programme accommodates that without cutting content elsewhere.

Personal Cash Flow for the Over-40s
A carefully paced programme that returns learners to the fundamentals of household cash flow — what comes in, what goes out, and the difference that small, steady changes can make over a decade. Designed for anyone more comfortable with pen and paper than spreadsheets, while also offering a companion spreadsheet for those who prefer it.
What you will cover
- Tracking household expenses without judgement or shame
- Understanding fixed versus variable costs in a Malaysian household context
- Identifying recurring subscriptions and commitments that may no longer be useful
- Setting a realistic savings rhythm that accounts for irregular income and expenses
- Using a simple ledger approach that does not require financial software
Programme details
Duration: 6 weeks, approximately 2 hours per week
Includes: Printed household ledger booklet (mailed)
Delivery: Online video sessions + optional companion spreadsheet
Fee: RM 715
Tax Literacy for Malaysian Households
An intermediate programme that demystifies the Malaysian tax system for learners in their 40s and 50s who want to understand their own returns rather than rely entirely on an accountant. The focus is on reliefs that households tend to overlook and on building the confidence to read LHDN documentation without anxiety.
What you will cover
- The structure of individual income tax in Malaysia — how the brackets work
- Education, medical, and parental care reliefs that households often overlook
- How EPF and PRS contributions affect your annual tax outcome
- The basics of rental income reporting for those with a second property
- Worked examples using a fictional Malaysian household followed across sessions
Programme details
Duration: 8 weeks, approximately 3 hours per week
Includes: Session workbook, LHDN reference guide
Delivery: Online video sessions
Fee: RM 1,490
Shariah-Compliant Investing Foundations
A considered programme for Malaysian learners who want to understand Shariah-compliant investing in depth — not as a set of slogans, but as a coherent framework with its own rules, screens, and trade-offs. This is the most in-depth of our three programmes and includes two one-to-one sessions with a Shariah-qualified financial planner.
What you will cover
- The role of the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission
- Screening criteria applied to listed companies and how they work in practice
- Shariah-compliant unit trusts and ETFs available in Malaysia
- Sukuk — what they are, how they differ from conventional bonds, and why that matters
- Practical portfolio construction within a Shariah-compliant framework
Programme details
Duration: 14 weeks, approximately 4 hours per week
Includes: Two one-to-one sessions with a Shariah-qualified planner
Delivery: Online video sessions + individual consultations
Fee: RM 2,965
